Facility & Environmental Engineering Technician

Job Summary

- Provide operational and technical support to achieve department and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Quality Act (EQA), ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections and perform minor repairs on building facilities, including walls, roofs, floors, doors, gates, and internal roads.; Monitor, coordinate, and supervise vendors during maintenance and project activities.; Support engineers in the operation, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of Fire Protection Systems, Gas Supply Systems, Exhaust Systems, and Vacuum Systems.; Ensure all related sensors and instrumentation are calibrated according to the required schedule and standards.; Support energy conservation and cost-saving initiatives.; Assist in facility improvement projects and other maintenance-related activities as assigned.; Assist in preparing purchase requisitions, service requests, work permits, and tracking maintenance-related administrative activities.

Requirements

Education: Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering or a related Engineering discipline, with experience in building facilities maintenance and management.; Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
