Factory Quality Technician (Microbiologist)

As a Factory Quality Technician (Microbiologist), you will be responsible for managing routine microbiological evaluations of the factory production environment and processing systems. You will lead the factory in ensuring that all quality operations aspects are in place and high functioning including, but not limited to verification activities, documentation, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

Managing routine microbiological evaluations of the factory production environment and processing systems; Leading the factory in ensuring that all quality operations aspects are in place and high functioning including verification activities, documentation, and recordkeeping; Overseeing factory Pathogen Monitoring Program; Interacting extensively with the operations group and influencing, coaching, and training all other factory personnel with regards to QA requirements and expectations; Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment including the maintenance, cleaning, and calibration; Working as a team with other lab associates to achieve shift, department, and factory objectives

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 1+ years of laboratory, quality assurance and/or food manufacturing experience required
