Ferrous Receiver

We are looking for a Ferrous Receiving Attendant to join our Drummondville team. The successful candidate will primarily be involved in the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs. This position is focused on manual labour, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable with physical work.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and apply established procedures; Unload, sort, inspect, and handle materials; Identify and classify non-ferrous metals; Weigh and organize materials; Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments; Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site; Work safely in compliance with health and safety (HSE) standards; Perform any other related tasks associated with operations.

Requirements

You are able to perform manual labour and work indoors and occasionally outdoors; You are in good physical condition and comfortable with repetitive tasks; You are responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious; You have strong teamwork skills and can collaborate effectively with others.

Nice to have

Experience in an industrial environment, recycling, or a related field; Experience operating a forklift or other equipment; Knowledge of different types of metals
