Financial Reporting Manager

Our client is a global alternative investment firm employing a multi-manager model, allocating capital across a broad array of independent teams with diverse strategies.

Responsibilities

Review the monthly books and records including financial statements, regulatory filings, net capital requirements, and other ongoing deliverables; Oversee the financial aspects of a registered Futures Clearing Merchant; Ensure compliance with net capital requirements of the FCM; Perform financial analysis for various needs including budgeting and forecasting of business results and respond to inquiries both internally and externally; Manage and prepare the firm's annual US GAAP audited financial statement and liaise with external auditors on audit and US GAAP related matters; Ensure all required month-end reconciliations are performed and reviewed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree; 10-12 years of related experience; Experience within financial services; In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for a Futures Clearing Merchant; Experience with the rules and requirements for an FCM; Experience managing and handling regulatory examinations and interacting with regulators

Nice to have

CPA preferred; Series 27 or Series 28 preferred
