Floor Care Technician

The Floor Care Technician shall be responsible for floor finishing, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning. This individual shall complete all tasks assigned on a daily basis for areas within the Baptist Health hospital and non-hospital facilities. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent; Excellent communication and customer service skills; Must be able to interact with all levels of peers, customers and management; Must be able to work safely around chemicals and dust; Flexible with begin and end shift times and scheduled work times; Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards; Ability to work both independently and in a team environment; Ability to foster a cooperative work environment; Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards; Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control; Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations; Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated; Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency; Ability to lift or carry up to 75 pounds occasionally and push/pull up to 150 pounds

Nice to have

At least one year floor care experience
