Founding Engineer Alan Precision (x/f/m)

Alan Precision is our bet on advanced prevention as the new norm of care. We combine biology, wearables, medical history, and lifestyle context, read it all as a connected system with AI supervised by physicians, and turn the result into a personalized protocol the member actually executes across sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and supplementation. As a Founding Engineer, you'll work side by side with Charles, ARO's co-founder and CTO. You'll own entire parts of the product end to end.

Responsibilities

Work across the entire product surface as a full-stack generalist; Own entire parts of the product end to end; Build the AI layer that reads the member's biology, wearables, medical history, and lifestyle context together, surfaces what matters, generates personalized insights and action plans, and helps the member navigate their own health; Build the pipelines, integrations with lab partners and wearable APIs, document understanding, and the data model; Ship the React Native app and shape the member experience: onboarding, daily plan, retests, progress, and moments of insight; Build the connective tissue to the Alan ecosystem: handoffs to teleconsultation, specialist referrals, and shared member context; Build systems for international expansion across France, Spain, Belgium, Canada, and beyond

Requirements

You must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain; 3+ years of engineering experience with strong product-eng instincts; Generalist comfortable jumping across mobile (React Native), web, backend (Python/Flask), and willing to learn whatever the product needs next; Shipped AI-powered features in production; Shipped real products end-to-end from idea to production and iterating on real-user learnings; Fluent in English (French is not required); Grit and bias for action; Love 0-to-1; Product-minded; High-ownership; Mission matters to you; Build with AI, with judgment and own everything that ends up in production; Aiming to hire above C1 level range on Alan engineering career path
