GPSU Cybersecurity Spring Internship

GuidePoint Security provides trusted cybersecurity expertise, solutions and services that help organizations make better decisions and minimize risk. As an intern at GuidePoint Security, you will work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services. Interns will complete in-house training programs, while working on projects to enhance their security knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

Work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services; Complete in-house training programs; Work on projects to enhance security knowledge and skills; Hands-on technical development; Real-world security response; Collaborative project work; Team and position shadowing; Partner-led vendor training and certifications

Requirements

Be physically located within the United States during the entire duration of the internship; Be available for full-time hire no later than September 2027; Be able to attend the mandatory in-person onboarding hosted in Tampa, FL; Have a basic understanding of information technology, networking, operating systems and security; Have a genuine passion for information security; Be motivated and eager to learn new skills; Demonstrate a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools; Have demonstrated efforts toward entering cybersecurity; Have a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours; Work a majority of hours between 11am-4pm EST Monday through Friday, ranging from 25-29hrs/wk; This position is not available for candidates living in Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming
