Handyman Helper

We are seeking a reliable, motivated Handyman Helper to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly alongside a lead handyman, assisting with residential and commercial repairs, maintenance, and installations. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone eager to learn the trades, develop practical technical skills, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Jobsite preparation and cleanup; Load and unload tools, equipment, and building materials; Set up ladders, scaffolding, drop cloths, and protective barriers; Maintain cleanliness and clear debris; Dispose of waste materials and old fixtures; Assist with repairs and installations; Perform basic carpentry tasks; Assist with installations including mounting TVs, hanging blinds, assembling furniture, and putting up shelving; Support basic trade work under close supervision; Retrieve and organize tools; Clean and organize tools and service vehicle; Track supply levels; Greet clients professionally; Follow safety protocols and wear PPE

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods; Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; Strong listening skills, desire to learn, punctuality, and strong work ethic

Nice to have

High school diploma or GED equivalent; Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools
