Handyman - Maintenance - Carpenter

We’re looking for highly-skilled craftsman who can “do it all” while taking excellent care of our customers. Mr. Handyman is known for exceptional service, quality work, and our “Done Right Promise.” A fast-growing home improvement and remodeling company has immediate, full time openings for skilled remodelers, carpenters and handymen.

Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience and following the Mr. Handyman Way

Requirements

Must have 10+ years of demonstratable experience; Must have own tools; Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: carpentry work, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting inside and out, drywall work minor and major repairs, general plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, floor installation and refurbishing; Self-manage as you’ll be alone often; Speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools including ability to use technology; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way; Wear proper PPE as well as booties to protect customer’s home
