Head Coach

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident in making friends, running the playground, and raising their hands high in the classroom. We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 15 months to 11 years old. The KidStrong Head Coach would focus on coaching children on the brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum.

Responsibilities

Coaching children on brain, physical, and character development based on evolving monthly curriculum; Speaking to parents/guardians about the reasoning behind the KidStrong curriculum; Setting schedules for the coaching staff; Assessing and evaluating coaches' performances and execution

Requirements

Passion for working with children; Athletic or coaching background; Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum; Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding the why behind the KidStrong curriculum; Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics; CPR certified; Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills; Self-starter who just gets a job done

Nice to have

Previous experience in management; Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group; Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT; Ideally experience coaching kids ages 15 months to 11 years old
