Head Coach

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident in making friends, running the playground, and raising their hands high in the classroom. The KidStrong Head Coach focuses on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding 'the why' behind the KidStrong curriculum. Set schedules for the coaching staff and assess/evaluate the center's coaches' performances and execution.

Coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum; Setting schedules for the coaching staff; Assessing and evaluating the center's coaches' performances and execution; Speaking to parents/guardians regarding 'the why' behind the KidStrong curriculum

Requirements

Athletic or coaching background; Passion for working with children; Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding 'the why' behind the KidStrong curriculum; Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum; Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics; CPR certified; Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills; Self-starter who just gets a job done

Nice to have

Previous experience in management; Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group; Experience coaching kids ages 15 months to 11 years old; Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT
