Head of Supply CU Japan

Group Supply, part of Business Area Networks (BNEW), is on a journey enabling technology and market leadership in mobile networks and entering the supply chain for focused expansion into enterprise, driving digitalization and creating connected supply chains e-2-e. We are now looking for Head of Supply CU Japan. The position is part of the Group Supply MNEA (Market Area Northeast) leadership team, reporting to Head of Group Supply MNEA.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high‑performing supply organization based in Yokohama, Japan, fostering capability growth, collaboration, and a strong performance culture; Drive market leadership through premium supply capabilities, ensuring full adherence to the Ericsson Supply Model and operational excellence across your unit; Leverage demand sensing and shaping in close collaboration with Market Area and Customer Unit stakeholders to drive integrated planning and ensure delivery through real‑time visibility of supply capabilities; Drive portfolio standardization to optimize and utilize volatility across Customer Units, improving predictability and efficiency; Secure the right supply Terms & Conditions ahead of upcoming customer negotiations and compelling events to enable competitive and resilient delivery commitments; Oversee OKRs and Scorecard performance, proactively identifying risks and initiating mitigation actions to ensure aligned delivery of unit objectives; Manage Business Continuity and comprehensive risk management, including financial exposure, across all supported Customer Units.

Requirements

Fluency in Japanese and English, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication; Courageous leadership - providing clear direction and setting high standards of professionalism, respect, perseverance, and integrity; A mindset that embraces innovation, change, and inclusion, fostering a culture that encourages new ideas and continuous improvement; A strong sense of ownership, taking accountability and being firmly in the driver’s seat to deliver results; Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to listen, influence, motivate, and inspire people across diverse teams; Strategic thinking, capable of analyzing complex situations, balancing detail with the broader picture, and making decisions aligned with long‑term strategy; High responsiveness and structure, remaining calm, composed, and effective under pressure; Solid financial acumen, with a data‑driven, analytical, structured, and results‑oriented approach; A relevant academic background, and 10+ years of professional experience, predominantly in leadership roles.
