Responsibilities

Completing Maintenance & Repairs: small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with project lengths ranging from two hours to two days; Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers: communicating with customers to help them understand what needs to be done and manage expectations about scope of work and costs; Create Life-Long Customers: deliver a great experience that wows repeat customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way; Document the jobs status and create detailed estimates; Ask for reviews and collect payments

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Self-manage as you’ll be alone often; Speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Ability to resolve issues while maintaining value to the customer; Document the jobs status and create detailed estimates; Wear proper PPE; Strong skill sets in remodeling and construction fields including rough and finish carpentry, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, siding trim replacement and repair, door and window installation, painting, drywall work, lite plumbing and electrical, floor installation, tile and grout, deck building, and fence repair
