Housekeeper

In the role of Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

Maintain the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion; Provide general housekeeping for the Community and individual resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and apartments; Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change beds and linens, ensure adequate linen supplies, turn mattresses, and empty waste baskets; Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed; Launder all linens; Follow Company sanitation and safety procedures; Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, soups/salads; Review menu, take resident orders, serve meals and desserts; Return cart to kitchen, assist with storage, deliver trays to resident rooms if needed; Bus and clear dishes, reset tables, and sanitize tables and chairs; Complete side work including filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning coffeemaker; May perform other duties as needed

Requirements

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills; Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents; General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices; Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time); Strong organization and time management skills; Basic computer skills
