Hygiene Operative

We have an opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join our Hygiene Team at Lightbody, part of our Finsbury Food Group. As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our production site remains clean, safe, and ready for operation.

Responsibilities

Ensure equipment and facilities are cleaned to the highest hygiene and food safety standards; Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules; Complete deep-clean tasks and shutdown cleans including machinery strip-downs; Work across all production areas; Accurately complete hygiene paperwork to demonstrate full compliance with due diligence, technical requirements, and site procedures; Maintain pest-control standards and adopt safe systems of work; Follow 'clean as you go' practices; Promote safe behaviours and work towards zero accidents; Support colleagues and meet hygiene targets

Requirements

Strong attention to detail with a conscientious approach; Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team; Confident working independently when required; Physically fit and able to bend, lift, and access areas under machinery; Good attendance and timekeeping; Ability to meet deadlines and work to schedules; Strong knowledge of high standards of hygiene

Nice to have

Previous experience in hygiene or industrial cleaning; Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing
