ICT Engineer for SAP (m/f/d)

Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI's. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization's business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

Responsibilities

Cover Event, Incident and Change Management Process of ITIL in SNOW Portal; Participate in projects running newest technologies like S4HANA, Sybase-ASE; Work on Private and Hybrid Cloud Computing; Work on solutions directly connected to World Lead Suppliers like SAP-RISE; Propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations; Diagnose and resolve complex tickets or escalate complex tickets with direct/potential impact related to IT infrastructure; Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and initiate actions to improve or correct the situation; Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority; Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against predicted performance and proactively remediate deviations, with vendors if necessary; Create and maintain technical documentation to support IT service; Serve as technical lead to provide clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans; Serve as technical lead to assure delivery of the service in critical situations; Deliver effective training plans and concepts to train other employees and ensure their fulfillment; Implement new technologies/services or upgrades to existing technologies

Requirements

At least secondary education in Information technologies; At least 4 years of experience in the field; Expert-level core platform knowledge of SAP; Intermediate knowledge of related platform, such as Linux; Communicative, team player with analytical thinking, training/mentoring abilities, presentation skills and negotiation skills; Financial literacy in the respective business area; Knowledge of Project management and ITIL processes; English at least at B2 level
