In-Room Dining - Mini Bar Attendant

The Mini Bar Attendant will be responsible to takes inventory and restocks guestroom Mini Bars on a daily basis and prepares charges accordingly. Removes and replaces Mini Bars in guest rooms upon request and provides monthly inventory of all items.

Responsibilities

Take inventory and restock guestroom mini bars on a daily basis and prepare charges accordingly; Remove and replace mini bars in guest rooms upon request; Provide monthly inventory of all items; Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service, procedures and standards; Anticipate guest and residents' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests and residents; Maintain positive guest and resident relations at all times; Resolve guest and resident complaints; Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas; Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections; Serve food items and beverages to guests and residents in compliance with Rosewood Miramar standards; Maintain security of designated keys; Complete opening and closing side work; Fully understand the use of radios and HOTSOS for completing guest requests; Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations

Requirements

Ability to understand guests' service needs; ability to focus attention on details; ability to maintain good coordination and timing while serving orders quickly; ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage guests; ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas; Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement; Follow directions thoroughly; Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility; Required to speak, read and write English; Work with minimal supervision; Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data; High school diploma; Must have a current and valid Food Handler Certification; Minimum 3 year experience in similar position in a luxury environment
