Industrial Engineer I

CRB is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, pro-active, organized, and innovative Industrial Engineer to join our Consulting Services team. The successful candidate must possess the skills required to successfully handle multiple simultaneous complex tasks, execute project tasks, have a strong work ethic and drive to deliver for customers, and be a collaborative team player. This person will work closely with senior-level industrial engineering staff to meet client needs. This person will be expected to execute work on one or more projects simultaneously as delegated by the Project Leads.

Responsibilities

• Simulation and mathematical modeling including discrete event simulations, process simulations, continuous simulations and

software)

- Coding experience or familiarity with a formal programming language is required
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma; Green Belt certification is preferred
- Ability to think analytically and outside the box
- Excellent communication, and computer skills are required
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required for client development and project execution (mostly domestic travel)
- Experienced data modeler with knowledge of SAS, SPSS or similar tools is preferred

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering; 0-2 years of experience required; Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industrial process projects is preferred; Experience with Excel-based macros and simulation tools (experience or familiarity with Discrete Event and Process Simulation required
