Project Design and Execution

Project Management

- Manage assigned design packages and ensure timely delivery. Monitor schedules and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Leadership and Team Collaboration

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in training and mentoring.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

- Ensure designs comply with statutory requirements, utility agency standards, and project specifications, including environmental and safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for potential project challenges.
- Review and approve engineering designs, reports, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and provide innovative solutions to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and detailed design of infrastructure and utilities for civil infrastructure projects.; Support design development from feasibility and concept stages through detailed design and construction.; Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using industry-standard software and tools.; Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore PE Board.; Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in infrastructure and utility planning and design with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.; Experience in major transportation, rail, road, infrastructure, or urban development projects.; Practical experience with utility agency approval processes in Singapore.; Proven experience with IPAG submissions and approval management is an advantage.; Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, or similar tools.; Experience in BIM coordination and clash detection tools is an advantage.; Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.
