Infusion Nurse Practitioner (NP)

As a Nurse Practitioner at IVX Health, you'll oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections; Conduct patient assessments, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses; Educate and support patients and families on treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management; Maintain accurate records in the EHR system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards; Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning; Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams for care coordination; Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence; Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license; Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state); AANP or ANCC board certification required; BLS certification required; Ability to care for both adults and pediatrics; Strong IV and infusion therapy skills, including experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols; Experience with EHR systems; Strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance; Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

PALS certification; Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting; Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
