Installation Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and driven Installation Manager to lead and oversee our installation operations within Marlowe Kitchen Fire Suppression. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of installations, effective resource planning, and high levels of customer satisfaction. You will manage day-to-day operations, support field engineers and schedulers, and drive performance against key business targets, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee installation operations within Marlowe Kitchen Fire Suppression; Manage day-to-day installation operations, resource planning, and customer satisfaction; Support field engineers and schedulers; Drive performance against key business targets; Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards; Manage and review the daily planning schedule; Provide hands-on support and direction to the scheduling team; Manage engineer availability; Maintain and resolve installation query logs; Identify and resolve stock-related issues; Handle customer complaints and non-conformances; Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards; Lead scheduling and planning meetings; Drive engineer utilisation; Prepare and present weekly reports to senior leadership; Ensure completed works are closed and invoiced within the month; Deliver against monthly revenue and margin targets; Maintain oversight of engineer certifications and training compliance; Lead team performance management; Define and standardise installation timescales; Attend monthly sales meetings; Produce and distribute technical bulletins

Requirements

Strong background in installation or field service management; Proven experience in an Installation Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role; Strong understanding of scheduling, workforce planning, and field operations; Commercial awareness with the ability to manage revenue, margins, and costs effectively; Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail; Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with engineers, clients, and senior stakeholders; Experience managing performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives; Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements; Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
