Installer Service Manager

Experienced and technical parts specialist who oversees and participates in all aspects of installer counter sales and service.

Responsibilities

Maximizing installer sales, focusing on market entitlement; Directing activities of all team members assigned to the installer service counter to ensure the highest level of customer service; Working with the store manager to ensure proper staffing of ISSs, delivery specialists and support personnel; Assisting in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management; Ensuring delivery specialists are routed efficiently, maximizing customer service while minimizing expenses; Ensuring all commercial customer complaints are handled in a friendly, efficient and satisfactory manner; Ensuring delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards; Working with ISS and store management to ensure inventory discrepancies are reported and corrected promptly; Overseeing the installer counter to provide commercial accounts with excellent customer service; Making sure orders, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before they leave the store and staged properly; Ensuring customers’ new, core and warranty returns are picked up and credited in a timely manner; Auditing installer returns for warranty abuse and ensuring returns are tagged/labeled correctly; Working with store manager and credit department to assist with collection of past due accounts; Providing input to store manager regarding ISS and delivery specialist performance evaluations; Utilizing relevant company training programs and ensuring team members complete required training; Completing routine MVR and driver's license audits on delivery specialists

Requirements

Leading technical parts specialist, good background in mechanics; Above average communication skills

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates; Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
