Internal Medicine APP-Full-Time-NP/PA

We invite Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together in our Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Internal Medicine-Premier practice, located in High Point, NC! We are looking for an individual with passion for providing quality patient care in a highly productive clinic setting where collegiality and collaboration are a focus. Position Highlights: Join team of 4 Physicians & 4 APPs; Office hours: Monday–Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Direct Patient Care Schedule: 4.5-day work week!; (Outpatient)-No Nights/No Weekends; Minimal Call - rotation with all providers. Functions independently in the primary care office setting in collaboration with a supervising physician.

Responsibilities

Functions independently in the primary care office setting in collaboration with a supervising physician; Provides care that may be longitudinal and is responsible for disease management across time, or provides care for overflow and sick visits; Emphasis on preventative care, stable acute illness reprieve, health promotion and illness/injury prevention; Functions independently in on-site occupational or teammate health clinic settings in collaboration with a supervising physician; Provides care focused on single-visit encounters with emphasis on illness reprieve and medication/vaccination compliance; Coordinates staffing and orientation of assigned team members; Plans and conducts ongoing education and training; Maintains infection control/safety standards and provides patient-centered communication and care
