Interventional Cardiology Physician

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a 8 week locum Interventional Cardiology Physician job in Gadsden, Alabama, paying $350/hr - $375/hr.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting and catheterizations; Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions; Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies; Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed; Address and manage acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications; Maintain detailed and accurate medical records

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school; Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA); Fellowship in cardiology, with specific training in interventional cardiology; Board certification in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA); Additional board certification or fellowship completion in interventional cardiology; Active and unrestricted medical license in Alabama; At least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting; Advanced knowledge of interventional cardiology techniques and procedures; Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills, particularly in high-pressure situations; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in cardiology-specific medical equipment and technology; Ability to handle complex and often urgent medical situations; Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams
