Interventional Radiologist - Jefferson Radiology

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to support our growing practice at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, with additional coverage across our outpatient sites and other hospital locations. Hartford Hospital is one of the largest teaching hospitals and tertiary care centers in New England with perhaps the region's busiest surgery practice. Responsibilities

Provide interventional radiology services (80% Interventional Radiology / 20% Diagnostic Radiology); Provide coverage across outpatient sites and other hospital locations; Interact with clinical colleagues; Attend and present at multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards to earn CME; Teaching and academic engagement within the onsite radiology residency program

Requirements

MD or DO; Graduate of an ACGME accredited Radiology residency program; Graduate of an ACGME accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship program; ABR or ABOR board-certified / board-eligible; ACLS required; Connecticut license required by the time physician starts

Nice to have

High end IR skill set preferred (Angiography, Embolization, Arterial Vascular Therapeutic, Surgical Type Procedures, Venous Catheter Procedures, Venous Vascular Access Procedures, GI Interventions, GU Interventions, Ablation Procedures, PICC Lines, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Superficial Biopsies, Deep Biopsies, Lumbar Puncture, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Abscess Drainage); 3+ years of attending experience preferred but new graduates considered; Level 1 trauma coverage preferred; Vein Center experience preferred but not required
