IT Program Consultant

The IT Program Consultant will provide support to a large scale government IT Cloud Infrastructure Modernization program. Responsibilities include: Utilize Agile principles to coordinate ongoing program activities, such as knowledge management and risk/issue management; Create ad-hoc and executive-level briefings, talking points, and communications plans for key stakeholders; Engage with executive audiences via briefings and reports; Help incorporate best practices and frameworks to maximize existing cloud infrastructure investments and demonstrate clearer return on investment; Provide technical expertise for integrating new and emerging technologies (quantum computing, edge computing, AI, IoT); Establish performance optimization and continuous improvement programs to drive ongoing enhancements and efficiencies.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in IT consulting with focus on cloud infrastructure modernization and enablement; Power Automate; Excel; PowerPoint; Ability to effectively communicate with executive audiences, both verbally and in writing; Ability to prepare and deliver clear and effective presentations; Understanding of industry-leading best practices and frameworks related to infrastructure to guide investment decisions; Experience working on IT programs involving cloud computing; Technical expertise related to new and emerging technologies related to IT infrastructure; US Citizenship; Active Federal Government public trust clearance (or higher security clearance)

Nice to have

Experience working for federal government customers; PMP certification; Experience performing Management Consulting for IT programs; AWS or Azure Cloud certifications and/or experience (governance role only)
