IT Security Engineer (CrowdStrike)

The Client IT is seeking an experienced IT professional to assist our in-house team with the deployment and configuration of CrowdStrike's Identity Protection platform module into our existing CrowdStrike environment. Additionally, the candidate will work with the team to further develop and refine our configurations for other products in our security portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert (SME) in CrowdStrike, have extensive device management experience, possess excellent communication skills, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams from both IT, and departmental business units. Additionally, experience with security features and solutions from Microsoft 365, and secure email gateway platforms, and identity and access management using Microsoft Active Directory/Entra are highly desired. IMPORTANT NOTES - READ FULLY: ONSITE WORK REQUIRED - Candidates MUST be onsite a minimum of 2 days per week throughout the life of the engagement. LOCAL candidates due to onsite work requirements for this role. Candidates MUST HAVE the required CrowdStrike Identity Protection experience to be considered.

Responsibilities

Drafting and implementing security baselines, and associated compliance actions within CrowdStrike; Drafting, testing, and implementing alerting and reports within CrowdStrike; Help draft implementation plans/policies for advanced security features within the M365 environment; Help establish governance and processes around Azure guest accounts and their maintenance; Review and help streamline existing security tool configurations/processes to achieve better efficiency and value (e.g. Proofpoint, Forcepoint, Trellix, Sentinel, LogRhythm, Falcon Complete, M365, etc.)

Requirements

CrowdStrike Identity Protection experience; Onsite work minimum 2 days per week; Local candidates only; Experienced IT professional; Subject matter expert (SME) in CrowdStrike; Extensive device management experience; Excellent communication skills; Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
