IT Specialist Co-op

MORSE is looking for a Co-op IT Specialist to join our team of talented IT Professionals. Do you enjoy getting hands-on with technology? Do you enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems? In this role you will assist with IT tasks and projects, including implementing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting a variety of technology as part of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a love of technology.

Responsibilities

IT Helpdesk ticket support; Onboarding of new employees; Manage Poly VTC Systems; Assisting with new system implementation; System troubleshooting; Helping to configure, manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers; Assist with IT projects and upgrades, including planning and project rollout support; Becoming familiar with IT security and data protection

Requirements

US Citizenship Required; Working towards a BS or BA degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related subject; Familiarity with MacOS X, Linux and Windows Operating Systems; Understanding of Networks; Experience working with virtual machines and containers; Experience with shell scripting on *nix systems
