IT Workplace Operations Intern

12-month internship as an IT Workplace Operation intern at NBCUniversal in London. The role is key to the team's productivity, combining technical support with ensuring processes and practices meet a high standard, and acting as a junior project manager on projects and initiatives for TechEx UK customers. Learning areas include IT/AV technical support, project management, vendor management, financial responsibility, service delivery, IT strategy and business engagement.

Responsibilities

Support the successful productivity of the team; Provide technical support; Ensure team processes and practices are carried out to a high standard; Act as junior project manager with exposure to all projects and initiatives; Ensure projects are delivered to the quality and time expectations of TechEx UK customers; Support placing orders for a building refurbishment in Europe; Perform stock inventory checks; Provide reporting data on monthly operation reviews

Requirements

Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship (Monday 5th July 2027 – Friday 21st July 2028); Undergraduate studying at university and returning to full-time education in Autumn 2028, or completed A-Levels, an equivalent course, or an Apprenticeship; Able to work on-site at NBCUniversal's Central London office five days per week; An interest in technology and some basic level of expertise in IT and software; Highly organised mindset; Ability to work independently whilst being proactive and forward thinking; Experience using the Microsoft Office 365 suite, specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams & Excel; Basic understanding of Finance/Mathematics
