Junior Managers Program (Trainee) - Start your Leadership Journey in Information Technology

Ready to change the IT world? We are looking for tech-savvy master’s graduates with a drive to make a difference, who will shape Bosch's digital transformation with us in our Junior Managers Program. Over an intensive 12 to 24-month journey, you will rotate through the key areas of our digital organization in Germany and abroad. Your mission is to gain a deep understanding of our business and our digital strategy, while building profound expertise in networking and developing digital business models relative to global IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and the deployment of customer-oriented platforms and software solutions. You will work on and lead high-impact projects, receive guidance from experienced executives, and gain hands-edge practical experience with the latest technologies. You will learn how the global IT strategy of a tech company is linked to business goals; actively co-create the cloud transformation roadmap by leading the migration of enterprise applications and evaluating innovative cloud services; work with the latest tech stacks and agile methodologies to design web services, microservice architectures, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Rotate through key areas of Bosch's digital organization in Germany and abroad; Gain deep understanding of Bosch's business and digital strategy; Build expertise in networking and developing digital business models relative to global IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and customer-oriented platforms and software solutions; Work on and lead high-impact projects; Receive guidance from experienced executives; Co-create the cloud transformation roadmap by leading migration of enterprise applications and evaluating innovative cloud services; Work with latest tech stacks and agile methodologies to design web services, microservice architectures, and data pipelines; Collaborate with personal executive-level mentor on strategic development

Requirements

Outstanding (full-time) Master's degree in (Business) Informatics, (technical) Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Focus on cloud technologies, web services, IoT, Big Data, AI, software, and/or data analytics; Fluent English (negotiation level); Good German language skills (B2 level); Naturally curious and ready to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and contexts; Motivation to link digital initiatives with overall business goals; Human-centric leadership with emotional intelligence and empathy; Strategic thinking and ability to derive a clear vision and roadmap; Ability to learn quickly and continuously develop oneself

Nice to have

MBA, PhD, or initial work experience; Initial experience with digitalization projects; Practical experience in applying one or more programming languages such as Java, C, Python, Matlab, or similar; Practical experience in the software or IT environment, ideally in medium-sized companies or start-ups
