Laboratory Supervisor (Chemist)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to lead our laboratory team in ensuring the highest standards for our finished feeds and raw materials. You will champion laboratory safety, oversee analytical testing, and drive continuous improvement to achieve zero complaints, regulatory compliance, and operational cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee lab quality management systems, ensuring strict compliance with 5S, GLP, ISMS, ISO standards, and the Philippine Chemistry Law (RA 10657); Ensure all chemical evaluations and lab methods are reliable, validated, and accurately logged using systems like SAP S/4HANA; Monitor the chemical hygiene plan, manage laboratory resources and equipment, and ensure a safe, organized, and compliant working environment; Guide, motivate, and develop a team of Laboratory Analysts / Specialists, managing periodic performance evaluations and fostering a culture of continuous learning; Work closely with Production, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Nutritionists, and SHE teams to resolve non-conformances and drive quality initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agricultural Chemistry, or a related 4-year science course; Registered Chemist; At least 3 years of hands-on experience in chemical laboratory management; Familiarity with laboratory equipment calibration and regulatory audits; Strong leader comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment; Willing to work in a dynamic plant setting with occasional exposure to physical elements

Nice to have

Experience using SAP S/4HANA; Previous ERP implementation
