Laboratory Technician - Wet Chemistry - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Southeast - Altamonte Springs, FL

Position Summary: The Laboratory Technician is responsible for various support tasks throughout the laboratory assigned on an as-needed basis. Sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal are typical functions. The ideal candidate shall be a detail-oriented team-player and able to multi-task. Candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Perform various support tasks throughout the laboratory on an as-needed basis; Prepare samples using standard techniques; Operate pipettors, balances, and/or graduated cylinders to measure sample volumes and weights; Prepare standards; Maintain scientific logbooks; Responsible for general housekeeping in work area; Follow all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures; Glassware cleaning and sample disposal are typical functions

Requirements

AA, AS, or BS in science or related field; Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship; Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

Nice to have
