Lead Care Manager

As a Lead Caregiver, you serve as the shift leader, ensuring exceptional, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team. You are both a working caregiver and a frontline leader modeling professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.

Responsibilities

Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage; Provide hands-on ADL support when needed; Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards; Review charting and ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP); Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly; Support onboarding and mentor new team members; Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED; age 18+; CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications; Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills; Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care
