Lead Product Designer

About the Role

Lead product design for a growing B2B AI communications software company, balancing hands-on product work with team leadership. You will partner closely with product and engineering, shape the experience across multiple product areas, and set a consistent standard across the product, website, and brand.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: €80,000 to €150,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site in Vienna, Austria.

Responsibilities

Own design across product, brand, and the design team, remaining hands-on in day-to-day work.; Design and prototype product experiences, conduct customer interviews, and use insights to guide iteration.; Partner with product and engineering on three product areas, supporting fast decisions and frequent releases.; Lead designers working across the website, branding, and product design.; Build a strong understanding of customer needs through regular conversations with business users.; Set and maintain design standards and scale design systems across product areas.; Use analytics and modern AI tools to improve design decisions and speed up workflows.

Requirements

At least five years of end-to-end product design experience, with ownership across multiple product areas.; Strong hands-on skills in Figma, prototyping, and user interviews.; Design-team leadership experience, or demonstrated readiness to take on team responsibility while staying hands-on.; Experience building and scaling design systems, with ownership spanning brand, website, and product design.; An analytics-driven approach to measuring and iterating on design decisions.; Experience using modern AI tools such as Cursor, v0, or Claude to accelerate design work.; Native-level German and good professional English.
