Cricut is seeking an experienced and versatile Software QA Engineer to support quality across Web, Mobile, Native, and API-based applications . In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to validate new features and ensure a high-quality end-user experience.

The ideal candidate can confidently represent QA perspectives in team discussions, communicate risks clearly, and provide actionable feedback that helps improve customer-facing experiences.

This position requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle , hands-on experience with a variety of testing techniques , familiarity with executing and maintaining automation test suites , and excellent written communication and organizational skills .

Requirements

6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related role; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; Experience working with user stories, features, and acceptance criteria in an agile environment; Solid understanding of creating and executing test cases and test plans; Experience running and maintaining automated testing suites; Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate risks and issues; Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams; Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices across the software development lifecycle

Nice to have

Experience testing ecommerce or subscription-based systems, including purchases, renewals, and cancellations.; Experience testing across multiple platforms, including Apple, Google, Web, and backend APIs
