Responsibilities

Develop and maintain global data privacy, AI governance, and compliance policies aligned with evolving regulations (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act); Partner with Security, Product, and Engineering to ensure privacy-by-design and compliance-by-default in all AI systems and cloud platforms; Draft, review, and negotiate data protection agreements (DPAs) and compliance clauses with customers and vendors; Lead incident response legal coordination, including breach notifications, investigations, and communications; Monitor global regulatory changes and advise executives on emerging risks and legal strategies for AI and data operations

Requirements

Advanced degree in Law (J.D. or LL.M.); At least 5 years of experience working in global SaaS/AI companies; Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating asynchronously; Strong communication skills with empathy; Adaptive, collaborative, and proactive in driving outcomes
