Loan Operations Associate

As a Loan Operations Associate, you'll work to support end-to-end loan onboarding, closings, and operational setup for private credit and direct lending transactions; process complex loan lifecycle events; perform reconciliations; generate operational reports; and partner with Product and Engineering to improve scalability and client experience.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end loan onboarding, closings, and operational setup for private credit and direct lending transactions; Process complex loan lifecycle events—fundings, repayments, prepayments, rollovers, and amendments—with accuracy and timeliness; Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations to maintain data integrity across borrower, lender, and settlement records; Generate recurring and ad hoc operational reports and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders; Partner with Product and Engineering to identify process inefficiencies and support platform enhancements that improve scalability and client experience

Requirements

2+ years of experience in loan operations, private credit operations, fund administration, or commercial lending; Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; Understanding of syndicated loans, direct lending structures, revolvers, and lifecycle events such as closings, fundings, amendments, and payoffs; Ability to translate that knowledge into reliable day-to-day execution; Actively leverage modern tools—including AI-powered productivity tools—to automate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and help shape scalable operating models; Strong communication and relationship-building skills; Strong analytical and organizational skills; Ability to perform interest, fee, payoff, and other loan-related calculations with confidence
