Machine Operator A

Set up and operate assigned machines to perform diversified operations and perform numerous tasks necessary with minimum supervision. This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Responsibilities

Reads and interprets blueprints and processes to plan setup and operation of machines; Performs facing, turning, boring, drilling, chucking, reaming, grooving, undercutting, broaching, keyway, honing, tapering, grinding, tapping, thread cutting, lapping, and other machining operations to machine parts; Uses required precision measuring tools and gages to ensure dimensions are to print specifications; Operates two or more machines, time cycles permitting, and checks work to maintain quality; Performs multi-machine tool operations that may include gear cutters, automatic and semi-automatic machine tools, and other machining tools with machine-controlled work cycles; Loads and unloads machines; Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or general educational diploma (G.E.D.); Three (3) years of experience required; Must be an experienced forklift driver; Extensive experience and considerable knowledge of machining technology, mathematics, tooling applications and machining characteristics of materials
