Machine Operator C

Set up and operate assigned machines to perform diversified operations and perform numerous tasks necessary with close supervision. This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate assigned machines to perform diversified operations; Read and interpret blueprints and processes to plan setup and operation of machines; Face, turn, bore, drill, chuck, ream, groove, undercut, broach, keyway, hone, taper, grind, tap, cut threads, lap, job, shape, and perform other machining operations to machine parts; Use required precision measuring tools and gages to ensure dimensions meet print specifications; Operate two or more machines, time cycles permitting, and check work to maintain quality; Operate multi-machine tool operations including gear cutters, automatic and semi-automatic machine tools, and other machining tools with machine-controlled work cycles; Load and unload machines; Perform surface grinding operations when assigned; Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or general educational diploma (G.E.D.); Limited experience and some knowledge of machining technology, mathematics, tooling applications and machining characteristics of materials; Ability to read and work from simple blueprints and job specifications; Knowledge, skills, and ability to learn basic mechanic principles; Must be capable of being certified as a forklift driver; Able to perform numerous tasks under close supervision to set up and operate any machine tool; Prioritizes safety and following regulations; Organizational skills to maintain an orderly and clean work area; Ability to constantly move up to 10 pounds, frequently move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally move up to 80 pounds
