Machine Operator - CNC - 1st shift

This position involves the operation of a CNC machine for glass. Operator tracks, locates, and records CNC production on schedules provided by Lead person. Communicate production demands with operators on each shift. This is a 1st shift position which is currently scheduled Monday-Friday 6am - 4pm.

Responsibilities

Operate a CNC machine for glass; Track, locate, and record CNC production on schedules provided by Lead person; Communicate production demands with operators on each shift; Read and understand sketches and interpret their meaning onto glass edges; Read schedules and understand edger's production demands based on information schedules; Operate a grinder to fabricate a quality ground or polished edge; Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift; Perform routine maintenance on machines; Complete daily work sheets and forms; Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

Basic computer familiarity; Read and use a tape measure; Read and perform mathematical calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions, and decimals normally acquired through high school education or equivalency
