Machine Operator I - Day shift

DIS-TRAN Steel, located in Washington Court House, OH is looking for Machine Operators to join our team. Machine Operators must be capable of operating machines in a steel plant. Individuals must possess the ability to read a tape measure and must possess basic math aptitude. Machine Operators will safely operate CNC machinery (drill, saw, etc.). Individuals will perform daily preventative maintenance on machines.

Requirements

Must be capable of operating machines in a steel plant; Must possess basic math aptitude; Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules; Ability to interpret blueprints; Ability to read a tape measure; Must complete on-site training and demonstrate safe operation of machinery

Nice to have

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Certifications or prior experience using moving machinery, such as cranes, preferred
