Maintenance Engineer

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping production running smoothly? We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Ensure the continuous running of production by eliminating downtime through safe, logical fault-finding and maintenance; Work on a variety of equipment, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems; Carry out planned and reactive engineering activities on-site

Requirements

Electrical qualifications such as C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3, 18th Edition or equivalent; Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations; Practical, hands-on approach with experience in electrical fault finding and defect rectification; Practical, hands-on approach with experience in routine maintenance activities; Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and provide accurate recommendations; Excellent communication skills to work effectively with operatives and team leaders

Nice to have

Apprentice-trained in a similar position; Mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics; PLC knowledge
