Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

Carry out reactive maintenance & repairs of all production machinery, industrial processing equipment, site services & utilities; Dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, rollers, belts, drives; Follow PPM schedules, continuous improvement projects; Electrical - PLC fault finding, repair & wiring control panels, switches, sensors, contactors; Mechanical - fabrication, fitting, welding, manual machining to make parts/repairs

Requirements

Apprenticeship trained; Qualified - NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in engineering; Must have worked in some form of manufacturing environment; Team player and positive character; Worked on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drives; Electrical biased skills - PLC fault finding, wiring / repairs control panels, sensors, switches; Mechanical biased skills - fabrication, fitting, welding, machining - milling, turning, grinding, lathes
