Maintenance Technician D

We’re hiring Maintenance Technicians at our manufacturing facility in Zanesville, OH. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll complete preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to support machine reliability and process improvements while always working in a safe manner to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation; Install and program Variable Frequency Drives; Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels; Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems; Troubleshoot electrical control systems including motors and PLCs; Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators; Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment; Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs; Utilize thermal imaging and ultrasonic analysis.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED; 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a two-year technical degree completed; Must be willing to work nights and weekends.

Nice to have

Experience working with 480 industrial voltages preferred
