Maintenance Technician - Days

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities to operate in the safest and most productive electro-mechanical condition, supporting continuous improvement, production strategies and plant reliability of snack food equipment and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

Maintaining equipment and facilities to operate in the safest and most productive electro-mechanical condition; Supporting continuous improvement, production strategies and plant reliability of snack food equipment and building maintenance; Understanding and adhering to governmental regulatory programs and policies; Practicing and complying with plant and maintenance department safety procedures; Following applicable good manufacturing practices; Maintaining and using appropriate personal protective equipment; Attending classes, seminars, and in-house training as needed; Assisting in making improvements and suggestions to optimize maintenance program; Executing and documenting planned and unplanned work findings via SAP; Repairing and installation of parts, tools and equipment; Performing Preventative Maintenance, inspections, corrective repairs, special projects/equipment rebuilds; Performing execution and resolution of equipment breakdowns/repairs; Leveraging root cause analysis, breakdown failure analysis and cause maps to identify and resolve equipment issues; Utilizing predictive maintenance technologies; Documenting cause of failure and working with maintenance team to prevent recurrence; Understanding and interpreting technical documents and diagrams; May perform other duties as required

Requirements

Must pass plant specific maintenance test

Nice to have

High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required; Some college or formal technical school education is preferred, but not required
