Home Instead Charnwood is looking for a Live-In Care Professional to support a specific client who requires a male care professional due to personal care needs and preferences. This requirement is in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 .

This is an ideal role for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and values building meaningful relationships with the person they care for.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.

You must also have full right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Provide live-in support for one client in their own home who is living with cerebral palsy.; Assist with personal care, medication prompts, meals, mobility, and daily routines; Carry out light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, and errands; Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement; Support the client in attending appointments and enjoying hobbies; Follow a personalised care plan and communicate regularly with the office team

Requirements

A care professional comfortable providing personal care to a male client; Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle; Must have full right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available; A kind, respectful and dependable individual; Excellent communication skills and a desire to support others; Experience is welcome but not essential – we provide full training
