Manager on Duty

Oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School daily operations including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail and vending department, private party operations and workplace employee activities.

Responsibilities

Oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School daily operations including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail and vending department, private party operations and workplace employee activities; Directs and controls daily operations; Manages staff of GSS; Helps train and oversee aquatics department; Trains and oversees private party staff; Gains knowledge and experience in Front Desk software; Maintains safe and sanitary pool operations; Initiates and oversees workplace employee activities; Maintains current certifications; Fulfills other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to work with children; Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills; Must pass background examinations (included with training); High school diploma or GED required; Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or childcare provider required; Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification required

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; Two or more years management experience preferred; Two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred; Shallow water attendant highly recommended
