Manager, Technical Accounting and Reporting - Apparel

Our rapidly growing apparel client is looking for a Manager of Technical Accounting to join their dozens-strong accounting team. Reporting to a high-energy Director, this role would see close interaction with senior management and play a significant role in establishing financial reporting processes. Responsibilities

Establish and improve the company’s financial reporting processes; Conduct research on changes in financial reporting standards; Develop appropriate internal controls; Coordinate with external auditors in relevant areas; Liaise with other departments in relevant circumstances

Requirements

5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or e-commerce setting; CPA required; B.A. in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Public accounting experience strongly preferred; SEC reporting experience preferred
