Manufacturing Engineer - Materials/Metallurgical

At AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company, we're proud to manufacture some of the most critical products in waterworks, energy, and infrastructure, including ductile iron and spiral-weld pipe. We're looking for a hands-on Materials/Metallurgical Manufacturing Engineer to help drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Materials/Metallurgical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders; Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; Comfort working in an industrial manufacturing environment; Willingness to be a hands-on, shop-floor-oriented engineer; Proficiency with standard software tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and measuring instruments; Flexibility to work occasional extended hours, weekends, or travel as needed; Valid driver's license

Nice to have

Graduate education; Professional certifications; Professional Engineering (PE) license; Leadership or project management experience in a manufacturing setting
