MARKETPLACE & MOLIDO - Barista

The Barista/Coffee Shop Attendant provides efficient counter service while preparing specialty coffee and beverage products, processing transactions, maintaining product displays, and creating a welcoming guest experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and acknowledge guests promptly; Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, teas, smoothies, and other assigned beverages according to established recipes; Maintain knowledge of available food, beverage, retail, and grab-and-go offerings; Take and accurately enter guest orders into the POS system; Process cash, credit card, room charge, and other approved payments accurately; Suggest additional products and appropriate enhancements; Maintain attractive and fully stocked displays; Monitor freshness, expiration dates, labels, and product rotation; Maintain appropriate pars for cups, lids, coffee, milk, syrups, condiments, and operating supplies; Maintain coffee machines, counters, refrigeration, display areas, and guest areas in clean and sanitary condition; Follow established food-safety and temperature-control procedures; Communicate low inventory, equipment issues, and product shortages promptly; Complete opening and closing procedures; Maintain accountability for cash bank and transactions when assigned; Assist other café, market, or Food & Beverage operations as assigned; Perform other reasonable duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to learn beverage recipes and equipment operation; Basic cash-handling and POS skills

Nice to have

Previous barista, café, cashier, or guest-service experience preferred
